We are looking for Draftsperson who will be responsible for the preparation of architectural designs and drawings using AutoCAD, and ensuring that design drawings conform to specifications provided.

 

Draughtsman Responsibilities

  • Creating accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions and site visits
  • Seamlessly integrating and working with our clients to produce and alter drawings
  • Thinking creatively and critically to support the team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work
  • Creating and continually updating project drawings lists
  • Printing various formats of drawings sets
  • Preparing of Bar Bending Schedules from drawings.
  • Systematically saving sketches and drawings on CAD Server, keeping the server organized, updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made
  • Create, edit and update standard details for use in projects
  • Liase with sales team concerning technical requirements.
  • Site visit with sales representative to ensure all technical aspects are respected.
  • Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule on MRC in-house software.
  • Report to technical manager.
  • To perform any cognate duties assignment by Management

Draughtsman Qualifications & Requirements

  • Technical Certificate or Diploma in Draftsmanship.
  • Freshers with AutoCAD knowledge can also apply.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience carrying out surveys and working with AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and planning skills.
