Structure, develop, and lead the Africa procurement function for EKIUM/SNEF, based in Mauritius.
Define and implement a group-wide purchasing strategy aligned with operational, financial, and project needs across Africa.
Manage international sourcing, with a strong focus on Asia, to achieve a targeted cost reduction of at least 30%.
Drive cost optimization initiatives through supplier consolidation, massification of purchases, and long-term framework agreements.
Identify, qualify, and negotiate with international and regional suppliers, ensuring competitiveness, reliability, and compliance with group standards.
Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, payment terms, delivery, Incoterms, warranties) to secure best total cost of ownership.
Standardize procurement processes, tools, and reporting across African entities and projects.
Coordinate closely with engineering, projects, logistics, finance, and site teams to anticipate needs and secure timely deliveries.
Implement supplier performance monitoring (cost, quality, lead time, risk) and continuous improvement plans.
Manage procurement risks related to supply chain disruption, currency exposure, and geopolitical constraints.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, ethics and governance requirements of EKIUM/SNEF.
Support major tenders and projects by providing strategic sourcing inputs and competitive cost structures.
