Preskil Island Resort is seeking a dynamic Event Executive to manage and execute events, meetings, MICE, and packages, ensuring seamless operations, excellent service, and revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage all event, meeting, MICE, and day/evening package enquiries, including quotations, follow-ups, confirmations, and contracts.

  • Coordinate events end-to-end (meetings, conferences, weddings, social events) from planning through execution and post-event follow-up.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate BEOs/function sheets and ensure clear communication with all operational departments.

  • Act as the main client contact before, during, and after events, ensuring expectations are met and service standards upheld.

  • Oversee event setups, conduct pre-event venue checks, and be present on-site to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction.

  • Liaise with Operations, Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, entertainment, and AV suppliers for seamless coordination.

  • Maintain up-to-date event calendars, bookings, and resource allocation systems.

  • Manage billing, invoicing, deposits, and payment follow-ups in line with agreed terms.

  • Drive revenue through upselling and cross-selling of packages, F&B, and value-added services.

  • Monitor event profitability, ensure compliance with health & safety and SOPs, and maintain proper documentation.

  • Support the Director of F&B, RM, and GM with MICE and package forecasts, reports, and market insights.

    Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Events Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in events, banqueting, or MICE operations (hotel environment preferred)
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events and work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of BEOs, event setups, and operational procedures
  • Commercial awareness with basic understanding of billing and revenue management
  • Proficient in MS Office and hotel/event management systems
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
