Structural/Civil Engineer

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team at EKIUM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural and civil engineering, specializing in reinforced concrete, in steel structures and wooden construction being a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Size and design structural elements
• Create detailed plans using Autocad, Robot, and Revit for BIM
• Write technical documents and specifications
• Monitor and manage project elements within the framework of project management

Qualifications:

• BEng in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in structural engineering
• Proven experience in building projects (residential and commercial) from design to execution
• Mastery of the Mauritian construction system
• Good knowledge of standards practiced in Mauritius (BS, CP, and Eurocodes)
• Familiarity with the French construction system is a plus
• Proficiency in Autocad, Robot, and Revit for BIM
• Strong technical writing skills
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
