Main Duties & Responsibilities

🔹 Ensure Regulatory Compliance with all local environmental laws, including permit, license, and certification renewals
🔹 Conduct Environmental Audits & Assessments to improve compliance and performance
🔹 Lead Waste Management Programs — reduce, recycle, and ensure safe disposal of hazardous & non-hazardous waste
🔹 Monitor and manage Air Emissions and apply pollution-control technologies to meet air-quality standards
🔹 Oversee Water Usage & Discharge, and implement initiatives to minimize consumption
🔹 Develop Energy Conservation & Efficiency Programs to lower environmental impact and facility costs
🔹 Prepare and submit Environmental Reports to regulatory bodies
🔹 Deliver Environmental Training & Awareness to employees
🔹 Perform Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for new or modified processes
🔹 Maintain Emergency Response Plans for incidents like spills or leaks
🔹 Conduct ongoing Environmental Research on trends, regulations, and new technologies
🔹 Manage Environmental Records & Documentation to demonstrate compliance

Candidate Should

✔ Hold a degree in environmental studies (engineering, science, sustainability)
✔ Be willing to spend 50% of the time doing field work
✔ Be comfortable with field inspections, monitoring, and shop-floor presence
✔ Have a pragmatic and solution-focused approach to every task
✔ Support sustainability with real, actionable thinking
✔ Contribute confidently as a team player and communicator
✔ Be ready to drive environmental improvement, not just report on it
