We are seeking a passionate and people-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the resort’s recruitment and employer branding strategy. This role plays a key part in attracting, selecting and onboarding top talent to deliver the legendary Shangri-La hospitality experience.
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in talent acquisition, including expatriate recruitment, preferably within hospitality.
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, labor regulations and work permit procedures.
Excellent interviewing, sourcing and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a fast-paced, operational environment.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR/recruitment systems; social media recruitment experience is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for people and service excellence.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, we rely on you to:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for local and expatriate positions across all departments.
Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs, workforce planning, and manpower budgeting.
Source candidates through job portals, social media, professional networks, agencies, and talent pipelines.
Screen CVs, conduct competency-based interviews, and coordinate assessments and reference checks.
Manage expatriate recruitment processes including coordination with authorities, documentation, and contracts.
Liaise with government bodies and internal stakeholders for work permits, visas, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare employment offers, contracts, job descriptions, and onboarding documentation.
Coordinate pre-employment checks and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies. Organize and facilitate onboarding, inductions, and orientation programs for local and expatriate hires.
Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, reports, and HR databases.
Support employer branding initiatives, career fairs, hotel open days, and recruitment campaigns.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical, leadership, and hard-to-fill positions. Liaise with recruitment agencies, training institutions, and international partners as required.
Monitor recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and candidate experience. Provide regular recruitment reports and insights to HR management.
