The Accounts Officer will be responsible for supporting the finance function through accurate accounting records, timely billing, reconciliations, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role ensures smooth management of payables, receivables, and financial reporting to support business operations.
Ensure billing is prepared and issued in a timely and accurate manner.
Process journal entries and generate financial and management reports.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
Monitor and perform debtors’ and creditors’ reconciliations.
Carry out bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports.
Liaise with auditors during audits and provide required documentation.
Prepare and file VAT returns and TDS on purchases and sales.
Degree holder in Accounting and Finance or any related field.
ACCA partly qualified.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with accounting software will be an added advantage.
