Technician specializing in cleaning equipment maintenance, known for delivering timely repairs, preventive servicing, and excellent customer support. Skilled in identifying faults, replacing parts, and ensuring all machines operate at peak performance.

 

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining cleaning equipment (scrubber dryers, vacuum cleaners, polishers, sweepers, pressure washers, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and basic electronic systems.
  • Ability to diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and carry out corrective repairs.
  • Experience with battery-operated machines (AGM, gel, lithium) and chargers is an advantage.
  • Capability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with tools, multimeters, and testing equipment.

2. Responsibilities

  • Perform regular servicing and maintenance on all cleaning machines.
  • Respond to breakdowns and ensure timely troubleshooting and repair.
  • Conduct site inspections, assess machine performance, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts usage.
  • Ensure machines are in safe, operational, and compliant condition at all times.
  • Provide technical advice to the operations team and end-users.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for spare parts orders and warranty claims.
  • Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and training of operators.

3. Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Valid driving license (advantage if required for site visits).
  • Basic computer literacy (reporting, email communication).

4. Personal Attributes

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • High level of reliability, discipline, and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work on-call or after-hours when needed.

5. Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and handle machine parts.
  • Comfortable working in workshop and field environments.
