Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must be ACCA qualified or part qualified, with experience using QuickBooks and/or Xero accounting systems.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to join our growing team based at Beau Plan. The role will include taking ownership of the month-end process, intercompany reconcilations and group reporting. 

The jobholder must be fully comfortable operating within cloud accounting systems, managing multi-entity setups, and maintaining accurate IC balances across a group.

We are looking for a self-starter who takes responsibility for their portfolio, communicates clearly with internal and external stakeholders, and can manage tasks independently.

Accounting tasks:

• Preparation and review of Financial Statements for Companies in accordance with IFRS & FRS 102.
• Provide information for and manage the audit process for clients
• Preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Assistance with ad-hoc financial reporting projects, budgets and forecasts
• Preparation, review and submission of VAT Returns
• Managing relationships with governing bodies such as HMRC and GRS
• Develop strong relationships with clients, including understanding their business practices and specific financial reporting information needs
• Implement efficient working practices and documents to improve quality of work and reduce time spent on tasks
• Any other tasks as required by Line Manager

Experience and skills required:

• ACCA Qualified or equivalent experience (would consider semi-qualified)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience using QuickBooks and/or Xero accounting software
• Ability to manage tasks idenpendantly
