Digital Transformation Lead

To spearhead our digital evolution in Aquarelle and Laguna Mauritius and Madagascar. Drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, with a strong emphasis on data analytics, process automation, and Artificial Intelligence.

The Woven cluster of CIEL Textile, Aquarelle Clothing Limited, is currently looking for a Digital Transformation Lead based at Grand Bois.

Digital Transformation Lead

Reporting directly to the Head IT Regional, the Digital Transformation Lead will have as main objective to drive Aquarelle and Laguna’s digital evolution across Mauritius and Madagascar, with a strong focus on data analytics, process automation and Artificial Intelligence.

What you will be doing:

• Evaluate and understand existing business processes to identify digital enhancement opportunities
• Design and implement digital strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Optimize user experience using digital tools and data analytics
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding of digital transformation objectives
• Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation for all developed solutions
• Develop KPIs and monitor performance of digital initiatives to measure impact and effectiveness
• Lead digital projects with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth execution
• Work closely with technology vendors and partners for solution deployment

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in digital transformation, IT strategy, or related fields
• Proven experience in digital transformation initiatives (ideally in manufacturing or apparel sectors)
• Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL, and analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Azure, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere)
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker)
• Ability to evaluate ROI and prioritize digital initiatives
• Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience working with external vendors and technology partners
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic and results-oriented mindset
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field
• Certifications in RPA, cloud, or data platforms required
• Certifications in Agile, PMP, Lean Six Sigma considered an advantage
