Maintenance Team Lead

The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, reliability, and optimal functioning of all production and utility equipment within the sugar packing and sugar manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection and maintenance work on all equipment and instrumentation (Mainly hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing).
• Perform installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment (Mainly hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing).
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of computerized control equipment.
• Plan and perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
• Ensure machines run at optimum efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and equipment history records.
• Maintain a strategic stock of critical spare parts.
• Focus on cost effective sourcing.
• Keep inventory records and minimum stock levels.
• Propose improvements to enhance machine reliability.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Support root-cause analysis of breakdowns.
• Maintain adequate housekeeping and cleaning of work areas and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance of the plant and premises.
• Abide to the Safety & Health policies.
