We are Hiring – Driver/Guide
Are you passionate about showcasing the beauty of Mauritius while delivering exceptional service to international visitors? Silver Wings Travels Ltd is looking for a dedicated Driver/Guide to join our dynamic team!
As a Driver/Guide, you will be the face of Silver Wings for our inbound customers. Your main responsibility will be to deliver exceptional guiding and transportation services to overseas guests, ensuring a seamless, safe, and enriching travel experience while strictly adhering to the company’s standards and procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet, welcome, and assist overseas guests upon arrival and during tours
- Transport and accompany tourists across Mauritius
- Clearly describe and explain points of interest and cultural highlights
- Ensure full delivery of the agreed itinerary and commitments
- Offer sightseeing advice and support guests with additional activities
- Promote and upsell local attractions, activities, and services
- Work with management to develop new tour routes based on guest interests
- Maintain a friendly, engaging, and professional attitude at all times
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, transport, and operational regulations
- Maintain the vehicle in line with company standards
- Assist with the planning of transfers and excursions
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum School Certificate (SC)
- 2-5 years’ experience with Indian Market as a Driver/Guide
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to work odd hours.
- Fluency in conversing in Hindi would be an advantage
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
