Agricultural Intern

New Maurifoods Ltd, a company of the Eclosia Group, is recruiting an Agricultural Intern in the Agricultural department.

Main duties:

Assist the Agro team in developing activities:

• Procurement of lettuces and vegetables

• Organization of planting and harvesting logistics

• Daily stock monitoring

• Price and volume negotiation

• Planning and scheduling

• Maintaining relationships with a network of partner growers

Quality and Supply Chain Management:

• Maintain quality documentation and participate in internal audits

• Manage supply chain information (availability, raw material quality) and communicate with growers

• Conduct bi-monthly visits to growers and agro sites (alongside the Agronomist) to ensure understanding and maintain good relationships

Projects and Learning:

• Draft technical crop sheets

• Assist the team with ongoing projects

• Data entry and reporting

• Preparation of technical documentation

Profile:

• BSc in Agriculture/ Biology/ Supply Chain & Logistics or equivalent

• Leadership and IT skills (Excel)

• Passion about agriculture
