We are looking for a Junior Survey Technician to join MEDINE GROUP| PROPERTY.
Job summary
Perform the relevant surveying tasks and produce the necessary drawings whilst interacting constructively with Surveying, Engineering, Town and Country Planning, and Architectural counterparts.
DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Work
- Perform field surveying to obtain all critical data necessary for drawing up Topographic, Cadastral, Building and Engineering base plans.
- Perform construction and boundary stake outs as directed by the Surveyor.
- Measure sites using surveying instruments including total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers and any other equipment related to land surveying works.
- Represent Medine Limited and / or its subsidiary companies, under the supervision of a Sworn land Surveyor, at surveys carried out by Private Surveyors and/ or Government Surveyors where the boundaries of the properties of Medine Limited and / or its subsidiary companies are concerned.
- Assist licensed surveying drone pilots in preflight, flight, post flight operations and data processing.
- Assist the GIS Technician / Officer and draughtsman in their duties.
Data Processing
- Produce drawings from raw survey data through to the finished products.
- Assist in the preparation of land development plans and correspondence.
- Advise on characteristics of sites regarding development possibilities and the related constraints.
- Liaise with professionals and authorities (internal and external) constructively within development projects.
- Prepare layout plans for morcellement in consultation with Surveyors, Architects and Town and Country Planners.
- Check road alignments and other features before and after construction.
- Carry out searches (whether online or in person) at the Registrar General Department and archives offices.
Administrative Work

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate in a course related to surveying.
- At least 1-2 years’ work experience as Junior Survey Technician working full time under the supervision of a Sworn Land Surveyor.
Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviours):
- Ability to work with Total Stations, GPS Receivers and any other equipment related to land surveying works.
- Advanced knowledge in mathematics, science and IT skills.
- Well versed in AutoCAD and any other software related to Land Surveying.
- Ability to communicate well and present information.
- Possesses analytical skills and is resourceful in solving problems.
- Excellent oral and written command of English and French.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and project management abilities.
