The Administrative Assistant/ provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of sales/projects office. Answers phone calls, schedules meetings, prepare quotes and supports visitors while carrying out administrative duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certificate in Secretarial duties or equivalent.
- Higher School Certification and relevant Experience acceptable
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability and Resilience.
- Ethical conduct and reliability.
- Excellent communication (French and English – verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions:
- This position operates in a professional office environment.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers/laptops, phones, photocopiers/printers, etc.
- Must be able to sit for long periods and walk around the office as necessary.
- May be required to assist to meetings outside office.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, office-based role.
- Located in Port Louis
- Mon to Fri : 08h30 - 17h,
- Sat : 08h30 > 13h.
- May be required to do overtime from time to time.
