The HORECA Salesman is responsible for driving sales and building long-term relationships with clients in the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and cafés.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the HORECA sector.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
    • Conduct regular client visits to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales & Business Development

    • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
    • Present and promote products to potential and existing clients.
    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
  • Market Intelligence

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
    • Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to improve offerings.
  • Customer Service

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
    • Resolve client issues related to product quality, delivery, or service.
  • Reporting & Coordination

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
    • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Min Qualification HSC
  • Experience in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the HORECA or foodservice industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage industry standards.

Work Environment:

  • Field-based role with frequent travel to client locations.
  • May require attendance at trade shows, industry events, and product demonstrations.
