The Student Relations Assistant provides support to the Academic and Student Relations Executive in the planning, implementation and coordination of student affairs programmes and activities and performs other related duties as required.

 

The Academic Department is responsible for the administration, supervision, planning, development and implementation of academic programmes delivered by the MCCI Business School. It oversees all the activities which will enhance the academic development of the students, including Student Information Services, Academic and Counseling Services, Academic Outreach and Quality Assurance.

The Student Relations Assistant provides support to the Academic and Student Relations Executive in the planning, implementation and coordination of student affairs programmes and activities and performs other related duties as required.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • To assist the Academic and Student Relations Executive in all programmes and activities directed at enhancing the student experience
  • To deal with all student complaints and requests as required
  • To carry out administrative and secretarial duties related to the Department
  • To participate in the organisation of students’ admissions and registration and provide detailed information and explanations to students accordingly.
  • To assist in the application process for awards, scholarships and fellowships
  • To plan and organise events and meetings related to the student body
  • To ensure the application of academic regulations and deadlines.
  • To act as advisor for student organisations and interest groups

Technical Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written French and English skills
  • Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge and understanding of the education system and laws
  • Planning, organising and administrative skills
