Storekeeper is responsible for managing goods in the warehouse at all stages, from the time of moving goods into the warehouse, preserving and storing them until the time of moving goods out of the warehouse, and ensuring requirements of quality and quantity of goods well.

 

  • Manage the store operations and exercise control on receipts, Purchase Orders and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
  • In charge in receiving all idented materials, confirming its quantity and ensure proper documentation is fulfilled.
  • Carry out daily physical count of good for inventory reconciliation and report it to the Supply Chain Officer.
  • Ensure that all consignments delivered are promptly inspected and report the Procurement Officer/Supply Chain Officer of any damage/incorrect items
  • Ensure finish product quality check is carried prior loading on the company vehicle.
  • Implement control measures to ensure that the correct product items are loaded in the vehicle for delivery.
  • Ensure that all BOQ are immediately dispatched to sub-store for which they are intended.
  • No finished good are left unsecured or unsupervised on the loading bay.
  • Stacking of products should be as per plan already established.
  • Ensure security of the entire factory premises with shutdown protocol in place.
  • Perform general inventory.
  • Notify Supply Chain Officer of expired stock levels in a timely manner.
  • Ensure a neat, tidy and well-arranged warehouse & store.
  • Ensure to keep the entire warehouses as per Safety & Health standards.
  • Effectively maintain the warehouse/store facilities and ensure organise structure and safe work environment.
  • Ensure stores/warehouses are kept clean and tidy at all times to reduce damages.
  • Ensure proper security is adhered at all time.
  • Monitor daily warehouse activities, staff attendance, conduct stock take and manage inventory level and accuracy on daily basis.
  • Manage resource allocation and ensure the availability of forklift, loader and other related staff.
  • Carry out weekly and monthly team meetings.
  • Assign helper to prepare products to delivery bay.
  • Accuracy and completeness of data capture on system.
  • Ensure that all movement of product/material is recorded through system.
  • Update all movement of product/material is recorded in system.
  • Update all movement of product from one location to another location. (Job card, transfer form, bill of quantity, request form, etc)
  • Prepare Picklist as per delivery plan.
  • Prepare delivery as per Picklist.
  • Submit delivery document to driver.
  • Carry out a final check of goods that are being loaded.
  • Ensure that all goods are prepared and delivered as per Picklist.
  • Match goods prepared with Picklist prior loading of goods in the vehicle.
  • Gather the right information on the reason of return goods and ensure that goods returned voucher is completed.
