Supply Chain Manager

Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers.

 

Import Planning & Procurement:

  • Plan and manage the timely importation of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods from international suppliers.
  • Work closely with regulatory bodies and clearing agents to ensure compliance with import regulations and timely customs clearance.
  • Forecast demand and manage procurement schedules based on seasonal variations, production cycles, and sales trends.

Manufacturing Supply Coordination (Detergents):

  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials and packaging for detergent manufacturing.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Liaise with Production and  Quality Assurance departments to ensure material specifications meet production standards.

Logistics & Delivery Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics including inbound and outbound transportation, route planning, and fleet management.
  • Negotiate and manage third-party logistics) partners, freight forwarders, and courier services.

Warehousing & Inventory Control:

  • Supervise the operation of company warehouses, ensuring proper layout, safety, and inventory organization.
  • Implement robust inventory control systems and conduct regular audits to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain a real-time inventory tracking system using ERP or supply chain software.

Strategic Planning & Process Improvement:

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business goals and reduce operational costs.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain and continuously seek ways to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and import/export laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, shipping documentation, and customs paperwork.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent qualifications
  • 10 years’ experience in a similar filed preferably in a production environment
