Microsoft NAV Technico/Functional Analyst/Senior Analyst

Our IT Governance & Consulting division is growing rapidly at BDO IT Consulting Ltd, and we are seeking for motivated Microsoft NAV Technico/Functional Analyst/Senior Analyst to be part of our team. The person is responsible for designing, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining NAV for new business processes and customizations. This position will require travel to client locations as needed.

Job Requirement:

 • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and other related areas 
 • Experience with latest versions of NAV, additional experiences with prior NAV versions 
 • Self-starter capable of independent, creative work, with demonstrated experience defining requirements and delivering applications to meet requirements 
 • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities:

 • Configuring and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas 
 • Working with internal and external stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development
 • Creating functional requirements and functional specs based on user specification
 • Converting functional requirements to technical specifications
 • Planning, designing, maintaining, and supporting NAV business systems
 • Testing functionality against business requirements
 • Migrating data from external software to Microsoft Dynamics NAV
 • Analysing, documenting, and suggesting system enhancements through communication with users, management, and customers / vendors to meet business goals and satisfy business and technical requirements 
 • Developing curricula, organizing, and delivering formal training on NAV functionality, including customizations and add-ons 
 • Dealing with complex situations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution and critical support 
 • Maintaining / administering security settings for NAV users; responsible for overall application security 
 • Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live support 
 • Assisting sales with presales demos in pursuit of new business 

Technical Requirements:

 • 3 or more years of Dynamics NAV experience 

 • Technical design and testing of core Dynamics NAV granules 

 • SQL Experience (Setup and Configuration) for NAV 2013 and later 

 • Experience participating in Work Scoping & Estimation 

 • Microsoft Dynamics NAV RapidStart Services
