Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst

The CDD Analyst is responsible for engaging existing clients in the collection of detailed client information and supporting documentation required for the completion of the CDD profile in the customers and suppliers lifecycle as part of the ABInBev and any regulatory requirements.

 

Job Description:
  1. Reach out to clients for CDD information and explain rules, regulations and policy.
  2. Ensure compliance with CDD requirements.
  3. Perform due diligence on new and existing clients by making an analytical risk assessment on accuracy, completeness and validity by using various sources of information.
  4. Familiarize yourself with the AML legislation and regulation of ABInBev and any regulatory body.
  5. Ensure compliance of both general and anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing (AML/ATF) compliance controls as well as operational risk controls in accordance with ABInBev or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues.
  6. Communicate with internal teams and external clients to ensure CDD collection is undertaken promptly, following up as necessary to manage outstanding CDD.
  7. Ensure that all CDD information, documents and files are properly maintained, stored and recorded.
  8. Support the Legal Specialist in identifying business risk and implanting risk management processes where required.
  9. Proactively respond to queries from teams and clients as part of the CDD service.
  10. Other ad hoc AML projects and duties may arise from time to time.

Qualification Experience & Competencies

  1. Undergraduate degree – relevant industry qualifications
  2. Basic understanding of AML/CDD framework
  3.  Good performance track record
  4. Communicate effectively by conveying information and ideas in a clear, meaningful, and timely manner, providing information to ensure understanding; solicit inputs and provide open candid conversations
  5. Establish collaborative working relationships
  6. Good analytical and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise work load and meet tight deadlines
  7. Proficient at using Microsoft Office

Additional Information:

Candidate should be registered under the Youth Employment Program (YEP) in order to be eligible to the job position.
