TotalEnergies Marketing Mauritius Ltd is looking for a Shop Supervisor. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract (CDD).
ACTIVITIES
As part of your missions, you will be responsible for the following:
Procedures and compliance
- Adhere to TEMML’s Shop Manual and all policies and procedures related to the operations of a shop (including COCO shop procedures manual).
- Ensure all current and forthcoming procedures are being implemented on site and reporting is done as per timeframe set.
- Ensure that the operations of the shop are fully HSEQ and HACCP compliant and take proactive actions to remedy and report unsafe conditions and safety incidents (near miss reporting).
- Ensure the general integrity of operations of the shop with respect to local laws and regulations.
Customer service and Customer satisfaction
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and expectations and share all information with his/her Chef de Secteur to constantly improve offers and increase shop revenue.
- Maintain high level of customer service in line with TotalEnergies Customer Service standards.
- Record and report customer complaints and take proactive actions to respond to clients’ complaints.
- Keep a close monitoring of any offer available in vicinity and share all information with his/her Chef de Secteur to ensure TEMML’s offer is reviewed/ improved.
- Actively participate in marketing initiatives and provide innovative ideas to attract customers.
- Ensure that Merchandising in shop is being done, shop cleanliness is maintained as per TEMML’s Standards.
Controls and reporting
- Ensure that sales, stock and banking reflect the position of the shop business on a day-to-day basis.
- Prepare banking daily and cash reconciliation reports and ensure transfer of money is done via TEMML’s approved service provider.
- Ensure timely reporting of all variances and potential irregularities to his/her Chef de Secteur or Retail Manager.
- Ensure timely reporting of all accounting data required by TEMML Finance department or any other business line.
- Manage the till operations and be accountable for any shortage occurring.
Food Handling/Preparation.
- To adhere to all HACCP standards as regards preparation of food on spot and sale of food items.
- Prepare food on site and serve to customers whilst adhering to the local Law hygiene standards & TEMML’s HACCP standards at all times.
Ordering and inventory
- Prepare shop orders using OASIS system to be validated by Head Office (SFS Department) before sending to Suppliers.
- Reception of products should be done immediately after delivery from suppliers and inform SFS Assistant once completed.
- Responsible for Inventory Count. Need to manage the stock level of the shop and ensure no out of stock for products.
- Stocktaking for Products should be done for each category on a monthly/Weekly basis (as per the frequency and category defined by the SFS team).
Performance reviews
- Actively participate in business performance reviews and objective setting.
- Sign attendance Book at start and end of shift.
PROFILE
- Minimum Higher School Certificate with preferably Accounts as one of the subjects.
- Valid Food Handling Certificate.
- Good verbal communication skills – both English and French.
- Service oriented.
- Experience in store management, Marketing, supervisory skills, cash management and shop assistance.
- No incidence of irregularity, Certificate of Morality is mandatory.
- Computer literate in Ms Office (Word, Excel).
- Able to work in team.
