We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cook to prepare and present high-quality meals in a timely and hygienic manner. The Cook will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards in the kitchen.
Main Duties:
Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and portion standards.
Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning, portion control, and minimizing food waste.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service operations.
Report any equipment or maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain a clean uniform and professional behavior at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
Good time management and multitasking skills.
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy items if required.
Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Culinary training or relevant certification is a plus.
