The Management Accountant assists the Management team in decision making by providing insightful analysis about financial position and financial control for Mubex and ABI Shared Services Africa.
Key role and responsibilities
Provide relevant information and insights to the Management team for decision making
Bank Reconciliation, Maintain Fixed Asset Register, Prepare expense schedule
All Accounts reconciliation for Fort Approval
Cash flow management and Cobrew loan reconciliation
Locals Supplier invoice processing and management
Prepare financial statements for ABISSA and Cognos submission within deadlines.
Intercompany validation for Cognos reporting
Assist the FM in Budget Planning and monthly reporting.
Assist for Internal Control monitoring and implementation.
Review and analyse operating figures and make insightful commentary to the Management Team.
Prepare monthly Management pack for presentation by consolidating information from AP and AR providing insightful analysis of figures vs previous months, budgets and any other relevant comparatives.
Prepare all ad hoc reports for ABISSA such as ZBB tracking & monitoring, monthly variance analysis & reporting, Auditors reports, Cognos requirements and any other reports on request making sure that these reports areas per required format.
Profile
Qualification & Experience
Postgraduate degree in Accounting or equivalent
ACCA/ACA Level 2 qualified with previous accounting, financial control and management reporting experience
3–5 years experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in a senior position
Good performance track record
Proficiency in English is essential
Proficiency in additional languages may be beneficial
