The Representative will be given a portfolio of products to present pharmacies. This requires regular face to face visits to pharmacies across the island. Must Hold a valid Driving License

 

Description

Pharmacy representatives are a key link between medical and pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies

As a pharmacy representative, you'll need to:

  • Have a good knowledge of the products within your portfolio
  • arrange appointments with pharmacies or ad-hoc visits
  • organize training sessions
  • build and maintain positive working relationships with customers
  • plan work schedules
  • analyse sales data to improve results and make sure resources are effectively allocated
  • monitor competitor activity and competitors' products
  • keep up to date with new developments
  • work within a team of established sales team

Training will be provided so that you are able to achieve the above.

Working hours

Monday-Friday (8.30am – 4.30 pm). However, flexibility is required on special occasions.

 

Skills desired

You'll need to have:

  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • an outgoing and persuasive manner and negotiating skills
  • sales and customer relationship skills
  • confidence, determination and persistence
  • a flexible approach to work in order to adapt to change
  • strong teamwork and networking skills
  • commercial and business awareness
  • the ability to work well under pressure

A driving license is essential.
