DevOps Engineer / Software Engineer

Primary Functions:   

• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle, contributing to ideation, design, development, testing, validation, optimization and automation processes.
• Collaborate with cross functional team to develop innovative and dynamic solutions. 
• Work in agile driven projects in conformity with our Quality Management System.
• Develop and maintain key knowledge documents throughout the project.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability.
• Identify and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Apply security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members.

Basic Qualifications: 

• At least a Diploma level in Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Deep understanding and fluent usage across a broad spectrum of technologies including:

• Experience working in a Linux environment or distribution: CentOS | Redhat | Debian …
• Proficient in installing, migrating, and configuring middlewares: Apache, PHP …
• A comprehensive understanding of OWASP vulnerabilities and WAF
• Ability to work independently, be flexible, self-motivated and a team player.
• Very strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working within Scrum environment and teams.
• Knowledge of Jenkins will be a definite advantage.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture.
