Internship Opportunity: Fleet Management Officer (6 Months)

AEL DDS is engaged in petroleum products transport and logistics in Mauritius and is offering a 6-month intership for the role of  Fleet Management Officer. The internship will be carried out under the supervision of the Logistics Manager and will provide practical exposure to logistics planning and experience in fleet management operations within a professional environment.

Logistics Internship – Key Responsibilities:

• Tracking of all vehicles through on-line GPS/In-Cab camera to detect/capture instant violations
• Assisting in the preparation of daily journey plans for Tanker drivers and providing daily reports of violations detected on GPS
• Support scheduling and follow-up of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with drivers and service providers for smooth fleet operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Enthusiasm and interest in fleet or transport management.
• Currently pursuing or completing studies in Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
