We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to support our Head of Finance.

 

Role Purpose

The Finance Manager will oversee daily financial operations, ensure accurate financial reporting under IAS/IFRS standards, maintain strong internal controls, and support business performance through financial analysis and planning.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IAS/IFRS.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

  • Monitor financial performance and analyze variances against budgets and forecasts.

  • Support the preparation of management reports for senior management.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Monitor departmental budgets and provide recommendations for cost control.

  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring IAS/IFRS compliance where applicable.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity requirements.

  • Manage banking relationships and oversee payment processes.

  • Ensure optimal cash management and financial planning.

Team Support & Process Improvement

  • Supervise and support finance team members where applicable.

  • Improve financial processes, reporting systems, and efficiencies.

  • Participate in financial system implementations or improvements as an when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of IAS and IFRS accounting standards.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.

  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

  • Experience in logistics, operations, or service industry is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, IAS/IFRS, and financial reporting.

  • Advanced Excel and financial system skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
