Responsible for the efficient administrative support of the Sales/ Reservations department; Perform clerical and coordination duties within well defined procedures so as to ensure the smooth functioning of the department in line with its departmental objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Is responsible for the efficient administrative support of the Sales/ Reservations department;
• Perform clerical and coordination duties within well defined procedures so as to ensure the smooth functioning of the department in line with its departmental objectives;
• Liaise with the Central Reservation Office concerning any reservation request and query;
• Double-check every reservation file and pre-allocate rooms where applicable;
• Check the arrival list one day before and ensure that all the information is correct (offers, flight details etc.);
• Respond to all guest-reservation requests and execute prompt, courteous and accurate service at all times;
• Adhere to the Hotel Rules and Regulations and performs ancillary duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE

• SC / HSC with good grades;
• Must be well versed in computer skills and familiar with MS Outlook, Word & Excel;
• Pleasant, outgoing and dynamic personality;
• Strong communication and organisational  skills;
• Eager to learn to work in a team and strong willingness to improve upon work performance and results to be achieved;
• Fluent in oral and written English and French;
• Be prepared to work on a flexible roster of 6/1 including day and evening shifts and be ready to work on Sundays and Public Holidays according to roster.
