Job summary

The Corporate & Trust Accounting Officer is responsible for maintaining accounting records and preparing financial reports for a portfolio of corporate entities and trusts. The role supports accurate financial reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accounting records for a portfolio of corporate entities and trusts.
  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping including posting journals, invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare management accounts and annual financial statements.
  • Complete all day-to-day matters in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Effect statutory filings with MRA, FSC, ROC and other statutory bodies.
  • Ensure high quality service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA Level 2.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience preferably within a management company.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software & Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and spoken communications skills.
