Accounts Payable Officer

The role aims to be recognized as a trusted finance team member. This role supports a robust control and compliance environment and contributes to implement EMEA Operations Finance innovations and projects.

What will I be doing? The Accounts Payable is contributing to all activities of the Accounts Payable / Purchasing Department, in all activities related to timely and accurate payments, maintenance and control of the hotel’s accounts payable and related accounts. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Assists in any other way deemed necessary for the efficient overall operation of the Accounts Payable / Purchasing Dept.
• Support and contribute to a smooth Accounts Payable / Purchasing department operation in full compliance with the policy, regulatory and contractual framework.
• Business partner with all hotel finance team members and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including Human Resources, Supply Management, Commercial and Operations.
• Prepares and completes all month-end responsibilities as week as printing month-end reports.
• Verifies all purchase orders and invoices for proper coding and approval signature.
• Ensures that all accounts are current.
• Maintains record of payments and ensures vendors files are in proper order.
• Reconciles vendor statements.
• Participate in all relevant Finance development programs.

What are we looking for?

• Ability to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required

Additional Preferences: HSC holder / certificate / Diploma is preferred
