Our client is seeking to recruit for the post of Chief Operating Officer to assist and support the Managing Director.
Responsibilities:
Strategic & Executive Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director on strategy, growth, and transformation.
- Support planning, execution, and performance management across the business.
- Ensure Board and senior leadership decisions are implemented effectively and on time.
Commercial Growth & Business Development
- Lead firm-wide sales and business development initiatives across all service lines.
- Develop and manage a consistent business development and sales pipeline framework.
- Encourage cross-selling and integrated services to grow client relationships and revenue.
- Support major client opportunities in both local and international markets.
Market Expansion & Service Development
- Identify opportunities in new markets, sectors, and client segments.
- Work with practice leaders to develop and launch new consulting services.
- Support cross-border delivery, outsourcing, and shared-service models.
- Explore partnerships and co-delivery opportunities to strengthen market presence.
Business Integration & Transformation
- Lead the execution of the consulting integration and transformation roadmap.
- Coordinate across HR, finance, legal, IT, branding, and operations teams.
- Track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery across workstreams.
- Support alignment of culture, systems, governance, and operating models.
Practice & Operational Oversight
- Provide oversight to selected consulting practices and emerging service lines.
- Ensure strong operational discipline, resource utilisation, and financial performance.
- Coach practice leaders to achieve growth, integration, and profitability targets.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Global Network & Alliances
- Represent the firm within the global consulting network.
- Build strong relationships with member and partner firms.
- Enable joint opportunities, knowledge sharing, and coordinated market approaches.
- Support preparations for full integration into the global consulting network.
Profile:
- Master or Degree with relevant experience.
- At least 10 to 15+ years' leadership experience in consulting, corporate finance or financial services.
- Strong track record in business development, commercial strategy and market entry.
- Experience in managing transformation, integration, or multi-entity restructuring would be an advantage.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement across executive and cross-functional levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in fast-moving, multi-dimensional environments.
