Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain woodworking machines (saws, planers, routers, milling machines).
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish wooden components.
- Conduct basic machine checks and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure proper handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
- Assist with installation of wooden products on-site when required.
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Secondary Education / HSC or equivalent.
- Technical or vocational certificate in wood machining or carpentry will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience in wood machining, furniture fabrication, or carpentry.
