Marketing & Communication Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator executes and supports both traditional and digital marketing activities to enhance brand presence, drive engagement and support business growth

 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Traditional Marketing Support 

  • Assist in preparing print materials (flyers, catalogues, etc.). 
  • Support events and promotional activities when required. 
  • Liaise with suppliers, agencies, or partners as needed. 

2. Digital Marketing Assist 

  • Assist in planning, creating, and publishing content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 
  • Assist in designing visuals using Canva or Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. 
  • Assist in producing short-form videos and branded assets for campaigns. 
  • Assist in writing copy for social media, website, and promotional materials. 
  • Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on campaign performance and engagement. 
  • Assist in executing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.). 

2. Data & Reporting 

  • Analyze store performance data (conversion rate, footfall, promotions impact) and provide weekly/monthly reports to management. 
  • Excel proficiency is required; Power BI knowledge is a plus
  • Transform data insights into actionable marketing and retail strategies. 

3. Website & E-Commerce 

  • Assist in updating product listings, banners and landing pages. 
  • Ensure website content is accurate, up to date and optimized. 
  • Support online and seasonal promotional campaigns. 

4. Strategic & Critical Thinking 

  • Assess marketing campaigns and recommend data-driven improvements. 
  • Identify growth opportunities based on market trends and customer behavior. 
  • Support strategic planning aligned with company revenue and brand objectives. 
  • Evaluate initiatives and propose optimization strategies. 

5. Project Coordination 

  • Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns across all store locations. 
  • Ensure timely execution of promotions, in-store activations and communication materials. 
  • Liaise with suppliers, agencies and internal departments. 
  • Track timelines, budgets and deliverables. 
  • Conduct post-campaign performance analysis. 

7. General & Innovation 

  • Stay updated on marketing trends and propose innovative ideas. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing activities align with business goals. 
  • Photography and video production/editing skills are a strong advantage. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Retail Management, or related field or Diploma-level qualification.  
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, marketing, or sales operations. 

Skills & Competencies 

  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 
  • Retail reporting and KPI tracking .
  • Marketing campaign management tools (e.g., Canva). 
  • Visual merchandising tools.

Candidate Profile 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail, marketing or sales operations. 
  • Experience managing corporate communications channels, including in-store and external media (e.g., Radio) .
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Confident, proactive and able to take initiative. 
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
