E-Commerce Specialist
Responsibilities
•Manage and optimise the e-commerce platform and mobile app, including catalogue onboarding across all business units and coordination with IT and external agencies for integrations and enhancements
•Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, email, WhatsApp), manage SEO, and oversee product content production including descriptions, photography, and seasonal promotions
•Track campaign ROI, monitor daily sales performance, and adjust strategies to maximise revenue growth and customer acquisition efficiency
•Drive online sales targets through promotional campaigns, loyalty activations, and co-funded marketing budgets in collaboration with Business Unit Managers
•Define and monitor SLAs for delivery, returns, and customer support; coordinate with Supply Chain and Distribution to ensure on-time, accurate order fulfilment
•Manage digital support channels and customer service chatbot; track CSAT and NPS and implement experience improvements
•Maintain performance dashboards (revenue, traffic, conversion, fulfilment KPIs) and present regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership
•Ensure compliance with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 across all digital customer interactions
•Provide day-to-day direction to the Digital Marketing Specialist and collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Unit teams to align digital priorities
Education/ Qualification & Competencies
•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Commerce, or a related field
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or FMCG retail
•Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, or equivalent)
•Solid understanding of digital marketing tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, email marketing platforms
•Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods environment preferred
•Project coordination experience is an advantage
•Motivated self-starter who takes ownership of targets and delivers consistently in a fast-moving environment.
•Comfortable working across platforms, tools, and data — always looking to learn and apply new digital trends.
•Works effectively across teams and engages stakeholders confidently in both English and French.
•Places the customer experience at the centre of every decision, from product listing quality to delivery reliability
