The Dayforce Talent Product Development team is seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to help build the next generation of intelligent, cloud-native Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions.
You will be joining the Dayforce Talent organization, the department responsible for our full portfolio of Talent products from Recruiting, Learning, Career Explorer, Performance Management, Compensation, and Succession - used globally by customers to hire, develop, and grow their workforce.
Requirements:
- Analyze, design, prototype, program, test, troubleshoot and support – the complete software lifecycle in your hands
- Envision and deliver new features by working as part of a high-performing scrum team, with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel
- Create and enhance a scalable SaaS enterprise application
- Assess risks and impacts on the existing system as new functionality is added
- Perform code reviews
- Mentor other developers and share knowledge
Skills and experience we value
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with significant experience in designing and interacting with relational databases (TSQL)
- Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable enterprise-level software solutions
- Deep understanding and practical application of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns to create maintainable and efficient code
- Exceptional skills in performance optimization, debugging and troubleshooting
- Proficient in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs for seamless integration between services
- Solid experience in front-end development using modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue), with a strong grasp of responsive design and user experience best practices
- AI-accelerated engineering: demonstrated use of AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Codeium, Sourcegraph Cody, etc.) to increase velocity and quality—such as generating unit tests, assisting refactors, drafting PR summaries/runbooks, or composing queries/migrations. Be prepared to discuss measurable impact (cycle time, PR throughput, defect rate, coverage, or MTTR).
What would make you really stand out
- Understanding microservice orchestration including ability to build a new service from scratch and deploy in a cloud infrastructure using automation
- Confident in working with Azure and managing infrastructure
- Advanced skills in setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments using Azure DevOps CI/CD automation and GitHub Actions
- Experienced with Docker containers (Kubernetes is a plus)
- Proficient in test automation – unit, integration and E2E using tools like Cypress and Playwright
- Experience integrating LLM capabilities into products (e.g., retrieval/RAG, prompt design, evaluation/guardrails) is a plus.
