Design, Detailing & Product Development

• Design and detail precast elements (standard and nonstandard) in accordance with project requirements, applicable codes, and internal standards.
• Prepare and check reinforcement detailing, lifting/handling provisions, and constructability for safe manufacturing and erection.
• Identify and develop new products / mould concepts and support trials, prototypes and method statements.

Pricing, Costing & Quotations

• Prepare cost estimates for precast products (materials, reinforcement, inserts, labour, plant and transport) and maintain costing templates.
• Support Sales with quotations, technical clarifications, alternatives and value engineering proposals.
• Review non-standard element costs after production and update rates to improve accuracy of quotation.
• Perform general cost control to curtail inefficiencies.

Drawings, Documentation & Submittals

• Issue CAD drawings, production sheets, BBS and revision control; ensure correct issue to workshop and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical submittals, RFIs, as-built drawings and close-out documentation when required.
• Maintain an up-to-date technical handbook / library (drawings, specs, methods and lessons learned).

Site Support, Claims & Client Coordination

• Attend site meetings when required; provide technical support for installation issues, defects, and corrective measures.
• Support preparation of BOQs, method statement, with relevant technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients/consultants for approvals and ensure requirements are communicated to production.

Quality, Continuous Improvement & Compliance

• Work with QC to define inspection requirements; support NCR investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and reduce waste through better design and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, safe design principles and company procedures.

Communication & Teamwork

• Maintain clear communication with internal teams (Sales, Production, QC) to meet delivery commitments and customer expectations.
• Contribute to team meetings and share technical knowledge to strengthen capability within the department for enhanced capacity building.
• Perform any other cognate duties assigned by Management.
