The job incumbent shall be responsible to:
• act as a support to the logistics department.
• to carry out all administrative and secretarial duties efficiently and effectively.
• act as a model and in accordance with Company's values and corporate guidelines.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Print and Create shipping folders from mail
- Maintaining accurate records of all logistics activities and updating logistics databases and systems.
- Follow-up orders and update the Estimated Time of Arrival accordingly.
- Ensure that Purchase Order/ Sales Order are updated for final invoicing within the time frame
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Assist the clearing department as when required for export invoices or shipping instructions
- Handle Data Entry and Clerical duties related to logistics
- Issue and print freight invoices for payment.
- Liaise with shipping lines/ agents for shipping instructions.
- Liaise with purchasing department and check documentations and process, which include:
- Packing list.
- Commercial Invoicing.
- BL & others.
- Perform other administrative duties like:
- Filing and recording of data
- General clerical works
- Assist Logistics Department in preparation of Documents as and when required
- Perform other cognate duties within scope of duty.
