Our client is seeking a dynamic, qualified, and experienced educational leader to assume the position of Head of School.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes, fostering a positive school culture, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the institution.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Management:
- Provide visionary leadership aligned with the school's mission, values, and academic objectives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead and support the academic and administrative teams to deliver high-quality educational services.
- Oversee the effective management of school operations, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
Academic Excellence:
- Ensure the delivery of a robust and innovative curriculum that aligns with international educational standards.
- Promote a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional development among staff.
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance and introduce improvement strategies when required.
Staff Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff.
- Foster collaboration, teamwork, and a supportive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with professional development requirements and performance standards.
Student Welfare & School Culture:
- Uphold a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Implement and enforce disciplinary policies and student welfare programs.
- Promote positive relationships among students, parents, and the school community.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Maintain strong communication with parents, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the school in community events, professional forums, and partnership meetings.
- Prepare and present reports on school performance and development.
Compliance & Administration:
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies.
- Manage school documentation, reporting systems, and administrative procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively for reporting, planning, and communication.
Profile:
- A Master's degree in Education or an equivalent qualification is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of successful international school administration experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a multicultural and international school environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision making abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to inspire staff, engage students, and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem solving capabilities.
