A full-time Senior Project Manager role is available to oversee multiple property developments, including a 5-star hotel renovation and extension, as well as additional commercial and residential development projects. The position will lead projects through all six phases—Initiation, Design Development, Procurement & Tender, Construction, Commissioning, and Closure—combining hands-on construction expertise with strategic oversight and board-level reporting.

The Senior Project Manager will manage projects at both macro and technical levels, coordinating cross-functional teams of contractors, developers, designers, and specialist consultants to ensure key milestones are achieved. The role requires a balance of on-site and office-based work, including regular construction site visits to resolve technical challenges and monitor progress, as well as office-based responsibilities such as preparing clear and accurate development reports for owners.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Project Management (50%)

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and compliance with specifications

  • Lead site and technical coordination to resolve issues and maintain project schedules

  • Identify project risks and opportunities for design and construction improvements

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to secure permits, approvals, and statutory compliance

  • Build and lead a small team of junior project coordinators

  • Ensure QA/QC processes and HSE compliance across all projects

  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, change orders, progress reports, and project documentation

Development & Project Planning (50%)

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle

  • Prepare project briefs, manage client service realisation, and assess Technical Due Diligence reports

  • Generate and approve baseline programmes; monitor costs, resources, and procurement; and implement cost-control measures, including value engineering across all projects

  • Oversee the appointment and management of consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, including contract negotiation and dispute resolution

  • Chair senior-level progress meetings and produce clear reports and presentations for stakeholders

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications

  • Transportation to and from Seychelles, and to and from project sites

  • Medical insurance

  • Proven experience in both Development Management and Project Management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing international hotel or large-scale property developments, with a strong delivery track record

  • Experience in procurement strategy, fit-out packages, and specialist contractors (including AV, kitchen and laundry equipment, spa facilities, etc.), with working knowledge of JBCC and FIDIC contracts
