The Minibar Attendant is responsible for stocking, checking, and maintaining minibars in guest rooms according to hotel standards, while ensuring accurate recording of consumption and delivering a discreet, efficient service that enhances the guest experience.
Check and restock minibars in guest rooms daily according to standard par levels
Ensure correct product placement, presentation, and cleanliness of minibar units
Verify expiry dates and rotate stock following FIFO procedures
Ensure minibar refrigerators are clean and functioning properly
Accurately record minibar consumption using manual logs or PMS systems
Report daily minibar sales and discrepancies to the supervisor
Collect and return unused or expired items according to procedures
Assist with stock counts, inventory control, and requisitions
Safeguard minibar items against loss or damage
Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
Handle guest inquiries or minibar-related complaints professionally
Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping regarding room status (occupied, vacant, DND)
Follow hygiene and food safety standards when handling minibar items
Ensure cleanliness of minibars, shelves, and storage areas
Use equipment and handling procedures safely
