Reliable and hands-on Facilities Technician with experience in building maintenance, basic electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning works, and general handyman tasks. Proactive in supporting daily operations and maintaining safe, efficient work environments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works across offices and managed
sites.
Perform basic to intermediate electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning repairs and
troubleshooting.
Attend to general office maintenance works, including fixtures, fittings, doors,
furniture, minor carpentry, painting touch-ups, and other ad-hoc repairs.
Identify maintenance issues early and propose corrective actions to avoid service
disruption.
Facilities Support
Support internal teams with day-to-day facilities-related requests.
Assist with site inspections, safety checks, and reporting of potential hazards.
Coordinate with external contractors where specialised works are required and follow
up on completion.
Inventory & Supplies
Monitor and manage basic maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Ensure proper storage and availability of materials required for routine works.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain basic records of maintenance activities and interventions carried out.
Report recurring issues, risks, or improvement opportunities to the Technical Manager
Qualifications & Competencies
School Certificate (SC) or equivalent.
Technical certification or vocational training in Electrical, Plumbing, Air Conditioning,
Building Maintenance, or related fields is an advantage.
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar facilities or maintenance role.
Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and AC systems combined with general
handyman skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with a keen eye for maintenance needs and safety risks.
Good organisational and time-management skills; able to handle multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexible to attend emergencies, after-hours interventions, and rostered duties when
required.
