Transinvest Construction Ltd is recruiting a high caliber Receptionist / Administrative Officer for its Head Office in Coromandel.

Duties and Responsibilities

 You will be responsible for managing various administrative duties, including:

  • Greeting, welcoming and directing visitors appropriately.
  • Answering, screening and transferring incoming calls.
  • Providing basic and accurate information about the company in person, via phone and/or e-mail.
  • Receiving, sorting and dispatching daily mails.
  • Arrange for the delivery of mail to the post office.
  • Preparing and managing meeting rooms.
  • Managing the inventory and order of office supplies, including stationaries, paper and or ink toners.
  • Liaising with different suppliers and service providers for the ongoing building maintenance and supply of office amenities, such as water, coffee, canteen supplies, etc.
  • Keeping a safe and clean reception area by enforcing sanitary procedures and protocols.
  • Issuing purchase orders as per schedule.
  • Coordinating the distributing / dispatch of payments to suppliers.
  • Performing administrative duties, including filing, photocopy, transcribing and mailing as may be assigned.

 

Candidate Profile

 Strong interpersonal skills with assertive business etiquette

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Completely fluent in French and English, both at verbal and written level
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Ms Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Organised, meticulous and composed, even under pressure.
  • Proactive attitude, prone to participating actively as a Team Member in various tasks as and when required.
  • Minimum HSC Level (or equivalent), with 3 years of experience as a Receptionist.

 

Normal Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 08h00 to 17h00

Occasionally working outside normal hours for company events and/or projects

 

Remuneration and Benefits

The selected candidate will be offered an attractive package, in line with his/her experience and proficiency.  Training and support will be offered.
