Assist the Compensation & Benefits Specialist in the monthly payroll process, ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations.

 

The job incumbent will assist the Compensation & Benefits Specialist in the monthly payroll process, ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Rewards
• Assist the Compensation & Benefits Specialist in designing and implementing the organization’s compensation program.
• Assist in managing the employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs and ensure that these programs are cost-effective and meet the needs of employees.
• Conduct compensation and benefits survey and make necessary recommendations to the management.
• Understand the different plan in the group and provide related information as and when required. (Medical /catastrophe scheme, group personal accident cover, pension scheme).

Payroll
• Assist in the full process of payroll transactions.
• Maintain employee data/records and coordinate with People Partner to ensure correct employee data.
• Ensure that MNS returns are done on time.
• Respond and satisfy all staff queries on pay and related matters’
• Conduct payroll audits on each department at least once a month.

Analytics and Reporting
• Review, benchmark and optimize the group’s Total Rewards strategies and provide competitive information on reward packages in line with market practice.
• Support in total rewards survey and make necessary recommendations to the management.
• Help in total rewards audit to ensure fair and equitable treatment and compliance to policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll reports.
• Collect and compile all information regarding the number of employees within Medine group of companies.
• Maintain and file all payroll documentation as per internal filing system

Coordination
• Provide compensation and benefits interpretation to all employees.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth running of matters pertaining to payroll for all employee.
• Help in developing and implementing compensation training and communication programs.

Minimum Experience Requirements 
• 5 years of proven track in payroll processing and compensation cycle management.
