Prepares and produces high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in accordance with established recipes and kitchen standards, ensuring consistency, food safety, and timely service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods as per recipes and standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portioning.
  • Assist in menu planning and development when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Monitor ingredient quality, freshness and proper storage.
  • Control waste and support cost management initiatives.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
  • Assist with stock taking and inventory control.
  • Maintain accurate production and attendance records.
  • Work cooperatively with kitchen and service teams.
  • Comply with company policies and kitchen procedures.
