We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Supervisor for Materials who ensures the timely procurement, storage, and distribution of raw materials and supplies to support production and operational needs. This role is critical for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing costs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Supplier Management
    • Source and purchase raw materials, components, and supplies.
    • Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships.
    • Evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Inventory Control
    • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
    • Implement inventory management systems to reduce waste and optimize storage.
    • Conduct regular audits and reconcile inventory records.
  • Logistics & Coordination
    • Coordinate material flow between procurement, warehouse, and production.
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
    • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for efficiency.
  • Cost & Compliance
    • Analyze market trends to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Prepare reports on inventory status, material usage, and supplier performance.
    • Forecast material requirements based on production plans and historical data.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate degree preferred, alternatively technical diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in materials management, procurement, or inventory control specific to hotels.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and MS Excel preferred.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
