The Woven cluster of CIEL Textile, Aquarelle Clothing Limited, is currently looking for an IT Digital Engineer based at Grand Bois.

 

IT Digital Engineer

Reporting to the Head IT Regional, the IT Digital Engineer’s main objective is to drive and support digital transformation initiatives across Aquarelle & Laguna in Mauritius and Madagascar. The role focuses on building data pipelines, deploying automation solutions, and contributing to AI-driven projects to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Implement automation solutions using RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere).
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, transforming raw data into meaningful insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Support the deployment and integration of AI models and digital tools across departments.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver trainings to foster digital adoption within the organisation.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Transformation Lead to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of digital projects.

 

What are we looking for?

  • 2–5 years of experience in digital engineering, automation, or data engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data integration tools (Azure Data Factory, Talend, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with RPA platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Understanding of APIs, system integration, and basic DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Certifications in cloud, RPA, or data technologies would be a plus.
