BrandActiv is presently looking for an Accounts Clerk in its Costing unit who will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s daily accounting records are updated, processed in a timely manner and properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify conformity of documents received from supply chain/supplier
- Issue costing slips and assign costing number for each consignment
- Verify that the invoices and other docs correspond to their appropriate import permit
- Check & actualise supplier order with invoice and prepare Shipment Number for each consignment
- Reconcile monthly statement sent by local suppliers
- File of all worked out costings in such a manner as to facilitate future reference
Job Requirements:
- HSC / A level with Accounting as main subject
- At least 2 years’ work experience as Accounts Clerk
- Effective communication, organisational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive and result oriented
- Good critical thinking ability and able to work with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of administrative and clerical procedures
- Ability to work under pressure
