Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius, is looking for a dynamic IT Technician who will ensure the good running of IT systems and assist on technical duties of the Head Office and different outlets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all system hardware and equipment, including servers, end-user workstations, printers, UPSs and other peripherals.
- Perform and oversee installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software and peripherals.
- Implement and upgrade of server room security features, such as access control and environmental alarms.
- Update and maintain ITSM inventory (IT Assets).
- Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes and review system and application logs.
- Comply with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality procedures.
- Ensure excellent service by providing effective telephonic or on-site technical support.
- Comply with the Data Protection Act 2017.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Information Technology or any other relevant qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Certification such as A+ or N+ will be an advantage
- Good understanding of the local FMCG sector or Retail business can be an advantage
- Holder of a valid driving licence
OTHER REQUISITES:

- Ability to work under pressure
- Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours
