Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring proper customs record and declaration
2. Ensuring that customs rules and regulations are adhered to during customs formalities.
3. Following up on work progress and carrying out customs clearance formalities in a rapid and efficient manner
4. Verification of goods & stock in warehouse
5. Responsible for daily and monthly returns to customs department
6. Assisting in the processing of custom bills as and when required
7. Ensuring regular dispatch of documents to Customs department
8. Effecting payments to bank and dispatching documents to different agencies.
9. Keeping abreast of customs regulations and legal provisions affecting the business.
10. Submitting regular statistics and reports to Management.
11. Keeping Manager informed at all times of any matters impeding smooth work operations.
    Ensuring that all permit applications are made on time and keeping record of permits
12. Respecting standards of quality and compliance.
13. Planning of logistics & supply chain
14. Any other cognate duties.
